Accounts and Audit Regulations

As a local resident you have legal rights to inspect, ask questions about and challenge items in your council's accounts. For more information, the National Audit Office has published a guide - Council Accounts - a guide to your rights.

In order to comply with the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 which came into force on 1 April 2015, the Parish Council is required to publish certain information:

Financial Year 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018

The Statement of Accounts (Section 2 of the Annual Return)

Internal Audit Report

Notice of Date of Commencement of Period for the Exercise of Public Rights

Local Authority Accounts - A summary of your rights 

External Audit Report and Certificate (will be available upon the conclusion of the audit)

Notice of Conclusion of Audit (will be available upon the conclusion of the audit)
